To accomplish this, you can compare or contrast the answers. To do so, look for points of focus--in other words, points where the sources are either similar or different--and use these points to evaluate the logic of the answers to determine which answer or answers make the most sense to you.
For example, if you were searching for a new car, you would look at various cars in the price range you can afford. Then, once you have made a list of possible vehicles, you would look at points of focus to determine what vehicle is best for you. These points of focus may include gas mileage, features, warranties, and customer ratings.
Re-read chapter 10 if you have any questions about how to develop and organize a compare/contrast analysis. Pay close attention to the section on how to organize using block or alternating formats.
With this in mind, please answer the following in your comment:
- Looking at your sources, what might you use as points of focus to compare/contrast their ideas?
- Based on these points of focus, do your sources answer your question in similar ways or are there major differences in the answers? What are these similarities or differences?
- Might you organize the body paragraphs of your draft using the block format or the alternating? Why?
i would check if some articales had the same amounts of information, check if they matched and then see which of the articales gose deeper more in depth into the answering the question i have for my research paper.I might use both articales if they agree with each other to a certian extent.
ReplyDeleteMost of my sources do answer the resource question in the same way each one adding a little more to it. The base information is the same then the sources go into depth in answering the question that i need them to answer.
I used the Block format. I felt comfertable useing it. not totally a hundred percent confident that i can use it properly but i have used it more. i really do want to use the inside out methoud where i change the into to match the body paragraph.
My research pointed me in the same direction. I looked specifically for the positive way technology is used in education. My research did indeed answer my research question. I took the research I had found and added my own knowledge to it and wrote the paper. I used block format to write it. I took each "mode" of technology and described how it could enhance education.
ReplyDelete1.)I have not gotten this far yet but I wanted to make sure that I responded to all your blogs. I am in a toss up between superstition and night person or morning person. I think that I am leaning towards superstition and I have a pretty good idea where I want to go with the paper and as soon as im done with all these makeup blogs I am going to research some points of interest that will help me write this paper....sorry I couldnt answer your questions but as you know im catching up as much as I can....
